Fondue con curry, bacon, setas y Pan de ajo
¿Ha llegado la primavera y no me he enterado?
Esta mañana me he levantado (tarde) y he visto que el sol lucía a través del cristal de la terraza y al bajar he podido comprobar como algún duendecillo (llamado E.), había eliminado todo rastro que hacía tan solo un día, nos daba pistas de las fechas navideñas en las que nos encontrábamos.
Me encanta el verano y casi más la primavera y siempre he dicho que el frío debería ser únicamente durante las dos-tres semanas que dura la Navidad y únicamente para poder saborear los platos típicos que apetecen cuando estás a menos de 10º. para poder acurrucarte en el sofá con la manta hasta el cuello, poder encender la chimenea y como no, poder estrenar trapitos nuevos que abriguen.
Ayer, fue uno de esos días en los que aunque el sol lucía, la temperatura era bastante fresquita. Decidimos tomar fondue para comer.
Hace unos años, tomábamos este plato una vez al mes. Con lo que me gusta el queso, era uno de mis platos favoritos. Ahora, la tomamos algo menos ya que después del atracón de aquellos años, ya estamos algo saturados.
La tomamos a nuestro gusto y de forma nada tradicional. Le echamos curry para potenciar el sabor y ponemos los ingredientes dentro de la fondue para que se integren y te los vayas encontrando a medida que la vas tomando.
Le ponemos setas, bacon e incluso trigueros (no esta vez). El frankfurt, que a mi no me entusiasme demasiado, lo dejamos a parte para que a quién le guste, pueda pincharlo sin problemas.
Además de estos «aderezos» personales, un básico en nuestras fondues es el pan de ajo. Nos encanta.
Lo bueno de este plato, es que puedes trabajártelo bien y comprar los diferentes quesos y hacer la mezcla de forma más clásica o bien o comprar el preparado y tenerlo en la nevera esperando el momento idóneo y sacarlo cuando no tienes ganas de cocinar o tienes una cena imprevista. Tú decides ambas opciones son fantásticas y aunque la opción de mezclar tú misma los quesos es mucho mejor, si comprar un buen preparado, también sale bastante bien.
Pues bien, después de haber tomado ayer este plato típico de días de frío y bien calórico, esta mañana hacía un sol radiante y una temperatura de lo más agradable.
La playa hoy estaba llena. Parecía que media Barcelona había despertado de su hibernamiento y había salido para pasear y tomar una cervecita en las terrazas del paseo marítimo por el Maresme.
La verdad es que a mi me encanta esta época del año, pero me ha sorprendido el cambio de un día para otro….
Bien, pues espero que algún día vuelva a hacer algo de frío para que podáis disfrutar de esta fantástica fondue.

Ingredientes:
– 500 gr de queso emental
– 300 gr de queso gruyere
– 100 cl de vino blanco seco
– Curry
– 1 bandeja de champiñones o gírgoles
– 1 diente de ajo
– 200 gr de bacon troceado
– 5 trigueros (al gusto)
– 4 frankfurts troceados
Para el pan de ajo:
– 1 baguete del día anterior o panecillos
– 4 dientes de ajo
– Mantequilla
Elaboración:
Cortar el pan en rebanadas y meter en el horno con el grill para tostar. Cuando cojan algo de color (poco) sacar y restregar los dientes de ajo en una de las cara de una de las rebanadas. Poner unas lascas de mantequilla encina de cada rebanada y volver a introducir en el horno (ya sin grill) hasta que la mantequilla se deshaga.
Untar un diente de ajo en las paredes de la fondue. Dorar los tacos de bacon. Cuando estén dorados, añadir el resto de los ingredientes (si los queremos dentro del recipiente. Si no, dorarlos a parte y disponerlos en unos recipientes para que los invitados puedan ir cogiendo al gusto).
Añadir el vino y dejar que evapore. Añadir los quesos y remover hasta que queden bien mezclados y fundidos. Añadir el curry (hay recetas con nuez moscada, así que cada uno que ponga lo que le guste más).
Remover y servir con el pan de ajo.
Sí, Mónica, lo de la temperatura y esa especie de primavera adelantada es totalmente cierto. Muy original tu combinación para la fondue, nunca se me hubiera ocurrido esta mezcla. Un beso, y feliz semana.

For example, the brand name of the auto will have a huge bearing on the price tag. A reliable aged family automobile will have a more economical premium than just a flashy racecar.

Quant aux soins, je suis completement accro a REN (les produits sont moins chers ici a Londres), le masque perfecteur de teint est un petite merveille et l’ensemble de la gamme hydratante est un delice pour la peau
