Vieiras con crujiente de coles de bruselas
No soy de nuevos propósitos a inicios de año, soy más de deseos.
Me gusta la palabra «deseo» porque en ella hay algo implícito que elimina el remordimiento cuando no se cumplen (cosa que no ocurre con los propósitos).
Con los deseos tú te limitas a escribirlos en un papel, cerrar los ojos y dejar que ocurran. Es MAGIA. Aunque si puedes influir un poquito en ellos es más fácil que se hagan realidad. (Esto quiere decir: dar pasitos para conseguirlos y no esperar espanzurrado en el sofá…).
El año pasado pedía estos deseos y tengo que decir que la mayoría se han cumplido. Así que estoy más feliz que una perdiz.
Y como es mejor dejarlos plasmados, ahí van:
– No volver a coger la gripe ni ningún constipado. Hace un par de meses cogí una gripe y ahora mismo paso por un constipado que me ha dejado más tirada que una alfombra. Por este año ya he tenido suficiente. Prometo mandarinas en vena y recordar no exfoliarme la nariz si estoy moqueando…
– Que no vuelvan a salir disparados los cojines de la terraza. Ya no me olvido de poner pinzas en la ropa, pero todavía me coge por sorpresa los vendavales-roba-cojines que hacen que salgan disparados y después tenga que ir a buscarlos a casa de la vecina.
– Que no se me rompan las uñas. Es un fastidio.
– Que no parezca un pelocho con la humedad que hay. En esto mis Reyes Magos ya están poniendo remedio con una plancha para el cabello que es la monda lironda. (Gracias!)
– Que Buck siga igual de sano, simpático y majete. Y que no vuelva a perderse porque me da un ataque al corazón.
– Que mi sobri siga siendo un corre-caminos tan simpático como siempre. Podéis ver sus aventuras y desventuras en este blog.
– Que mi nuevo proyecto sea un éxito y que sigáis apoyándome como lo habéis hecho hasta ahora. Sois unos soles y no tengo palabras para agradecéroslo.
– Que Bloom Marketing siga funcionando igual de bien y que sigamos con la buena energía y buen rollo que tenemos.
– Que mi familia siga igual de sana y bien-avenida. En los últimos años ya hemos tenido suficiente.
– Aunque suene populista y muy genérico: Que haya paz. Que no exista el terrorismo y que nadie muera ni mate por una ideología o religión. Soy consciente que esto no se cumplirá, pero tengo la esperanza de que si muchos lo deseamos, se haga un deseo tan grande y fuerte que se haga realidad.
– Y por último: ser feliz. Con ésto, me basta.
Y ahora, os dejo con la receta de estas Vieiras con crujiente de coles de bruselas. Me encantan las vieiras y su textura y combinadas con el sabor del crujiente de las coles queda un plato diferente y bien rico.

Ingredientes:
– 3 Vieiras por persona
– 1 Col de bruselas por persona
– 1 nuez por persona
– Aceite de girasol, sal, pimienta.
– Brotes de berros para decorar opcional.
Elaboración:
Limpiar las vieiras y retirar el coral (lo podemos reservar para hacer un arroz, por ejemplo).
Limpiar y cortar las coles de bruselas en juliana muy finas. En una sartén con aceite de girasol caliente dorar estas tiras con cuidado que no se quemen (aprox 1 min). Retirar, salar y poner en papel absorbente para que eliminen el exceso de aceite.
En una sartén muy caliente y anti-adherente con una cucharada de café de aceite, dorar las vieiras limpias salpimentadas, unos 2 minutos por cada lado, de forma que queden doradas pero no se pasen de cocción. (Por dentro deben estar casi crudas).
Montar el plato con las vieiras, el crujiente por encima y las nueces picadas. Decorar con los brotes de berros. Servir.

Yo creo que quitando el penúltimo deseo que lo veo difícil, el resto son muy factibles, aunque no se puede controlar al 100% que pilles un restriado, pero con grandes dosis de alegría se suele sobrellevar muy bien. Vaya platazo que te has marcado, como siempre Mónica, lo tuyo es arte. Un besazo
